Current Stuff

I love the word "stuff"! A lot of stuff going on currently...

Running: I'm training for the Golden Gate Challenge although my next race is the 15km Harrismith Mountain Race. Golden Gate is a 3 day 3 stage race. Our Golden gate looks a bit different to the one in the USA.

Yes, I will run on that and up to the top of the mountain in the background!

Eating: I am addicted to Rowntrees Fruit Pastilles! I always loved these fellows but then they disappeared from our shops for many years. Now they are back and they still taste exactly the same!

Love them!

Kids: Our kids are having a great year and they are all excelling in their own way. This is so exciting that Anette even updated the family blog!

Life is good and we are all making the most of it. Life is full of good stuff!

Happy running everyone!

It is always said when something disappears that you like, but its like Christmas all over again when you find them again.

Awesome looking bluff--it would be neat if the race had a turnaround or aid station at the edge!

"Stuff" is my favorite word; I use it all the time when I can't think of the right word to say! :)

That mountain race looks tough; but I would't expect anything less from you!! :)

Yummy on the Fruit Pastilles. Those haven't made it to the US, that's probably a good thing - not sure I could resist them and lord knows I don't NEED them :).

Off to read the family blog!!

Have a fantastic day!!

That candy isn't something we have here, that I know of--sounds good!

That mountain looks beautiful--how fantastic that you get to run it!

Sounds like everything is going fantastic and that makes me so happy :)

Also, I am crazy jealous of the terrain that you get to run through. I would never run on the treadmill if I lived where you lived either!

And super glad to hear that the kiddos are doing well too :)

Stuff is a good word as long as it contains Fruit Pastilles. We have had them in the UK continually since the stone age :-)

I really like Fruit Pastilles too. It seems that they're a very global lolly.

Glad that the life is good. With that spirit everything is easier.
That mountain looks beautiful but difficult to "hike" running.

You've planned another great challenge through a wonderful environment.
We can find those Fruit Pastilles here in Italy but they aren't sugar free.
Glad to hear about your kids :)

LIfe is good sounds great! I love M+Ms and there are some new mint dark chocolate ones that my husband and I both love. I spend too much money on them.

When I saw 'Golden Gate' I got realy excited for a minute there!

Beautiful, though. Good luck, Johann!

Glad things are going well - your Golden Gate looks very rugged!

funny how things can come and go in shops - I was in a panic when my favorite green tea (Twinings with Earl Grey) disappeared from my supermarket. So when I found it somewhere else, I stocked up and bought about 10 boxes at once. My kids thought I was crazy!

Wow, your photo gave me a sudden strong urge for a fruit pastille - delicious!

I'm starting to sound like a broken record, but I'm always in awe of the places you get to run!!
